HYL, an Italian-Polish project, is the brainchild of musician Rick Costantino, known for his contributions to bands like Schizo and Krigere Wolf. Costantino has enlisted a robust lineup for this project, with Shadow from Black Altar/Ofermod (live) on vocals and drummer Krzysztof Klingbein, known for his live performances with Belphegor and Vader. The debut album offers a deeply resonating atmospheric black metal experience that is likely to appeal to fans of Ruins of Beverast, Vemod, and Mgła. Intricately woven with powerful lyrics and immersive artwork created by Claudia Sanzà - Elysivm Artwork, Rick's wife, the album captures the essence of the band's thematic focus.
