Swedish Death n' Roll Heavyweights Return With First New Material Since 2018 Helltrain, Sweden's death n' roll heroes, are set to release their latest single 'Mischief' on May 26th, marking the band's first new material since the 2018 singles 'Wolfnight' and 'On Your Knees'. The new track was recorded in the now-infamous Lucichrist Studio on Hertz Island, Luleå, Sweden. In line with the band's ethos of independence, 'Mischief' was self-recorded, self-produced, and self-mixed by Helltrain, and independently released through the CD Baby platform. "It feels really good to get Helltrain going again. We have never been very fast on releasing material but this time it was a bit too much of a silent period. We'll look into getting more tracks ready for our fans and will try to be a bit more frequent in the studio. For the moment I am also writing a completely new Scheitan album, and when that has been finished I will switch focus back on Helltrain again," says vocalist Pierre Törnkvist. The band is currently working on new material and plans to release another single before the end of 2023. The video for 'Mischief' is now available to view on YouTube: https://youtu.be/K5QmT4JMk-Q.
