The formidable line-up of Thus features Frederik Jensen on vocals/guitar, Tobias Hornstrup on guitar, and Sebastian Skousgaard on bass. For this single, they've joined forces with Sebastian Lanser, renowned for his ex-Obscura and Panzerballett work, delivering stellar session drums. The record was mixed and mastered by Andreas Linnemann, known for his contributions to Baest and Angerot. "Inhale the Ash" is not merely a music piece, but a journey into a grim past. Its lyrics revolve around an ancient form of punishment inflicted on the most heinous wrongdoers, forcing them to inhale ash until suffocation. The accompanying music video portrays the dreadful fate of an individual accused of a crime, suffering this slow and brutal punishment. All vocals and guitars for this single were recorded at Frederik Jensen's home studio, while Sebastian Lanser recorded the drums remotely from his studio in Austria.
