Get ready for the electrifying sound of UNDER ATTACK, a heavy/speed metal band hailing from Sweden, founded initially as a side project by ex-Styggelse members Björn Thorup and former guitarist/vocalist Gustaf Sundin. What began as a fun hobby project soon evolved into a full-fledged band, with Björn as the sole member. In 2018, Björn met up with an old friend, Niklas Mattisson, and shared a few tracks, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the band. As Björn and Niklas recorded a demo, they began searching for new members to complete the lineup. Shortly after, vocalist Lars Hietala joined as a permanent member, adding a powerful voice to the mix. UNDER ATTACK has been hard at work writing and recording their first full-length album, "Fury of the Thunder God," featuring session drummer Martin Karlsson. With the mastering process completed, the band is now on the hunt for a permanent drummer and bass player to solidify their lineup. As they prepare for their first live shows, UNDER ATTACK is already writing material for their second album, ensuring that their sonic assault will continue to resonate with heavy/speed metal fans worldwide.
