Discover Memoremains' Pop Metal Spin on 2022's Disco Hit - "In The Dark" Single Out Now! Finnish pop metal band Memoremains has collected over a million listens with their Melanie C cover "I Turn To You" and Madonna cover "Sorry". Following their second album "Pop Metal" released last year, the band decided it was time for a Memoremains version of another suitable song, although the song selection was a bit of a surprise for the band itself. Singer Johanna Ahonen states: "In The Dark is born from the collaboration between Purple Disco Machine and Sophie and the Giants. It's a great mix of eighties, nineties, and modern day. The original version is already a great arrangement in itself and has permanently remained on my playlist for evening parties. After tasting for a while the suggestion that Aleksi threw out, we felt that it is necessary to further refine the working composition and make it a version that sounds like us. The catchiness of the song has been preserved, but there has been added some jaggedness and heaviness. In my opinion, the end result turned out to be quite a functioning metallic pop-anthem!" Memoremains' new single will soon be heard live outside the borders of Finland, as the band will perform in Helsinki on March 29th and goes on a small tour to the Baltics!
