We are excited to announce the upcoming release of Portuguese symphonic black metal band Caedeous' third album, "Malum Supplicium," on April 21st, 2023, via Black Sunset. A concept album inspired by the works of Lovecraft, Barker, and Alighieri, "Malum Supplicium" immerses you in horror stories of the eternal struggle between good and evil, angels and demons, heaven and hell. Mastermind Paulo J. Mendes has crafted opulent compositions that unleash a merciless wall of black metal blast beats and symphonic sound. The lineup features session musician Rich Gray from Annihilator on bass, and mezzo-soprano Rosmerta making her Caedeous debut. "Malum Supplicium" was mixed and mastered by Rich Gray at Gray Matter Audio Studios in Soham, England.
