Akimbek Zhaksylykov and Raiymbek Nurtay are promoted to Associate positions effective April 1, 2022.
Akimbek Zhaksylykov started his career with GRATA International as a paralegal of the Corporate law department back in 2018, made Junior Associate in 2020. Akimbek is a hard-working person and reliable team-player who works on different projects. His skills and competencies helped him in advising various domestic and international clients.

Raiymbek Nurtay joined the Firm in January 2020 as a Paralegal of Environmental law and License permit department and later had been promoted to Junior Associate. Among others he has broad experience in the legislation in the areas of environmental protection, licensing and data protection.
In particular, Raiymbek is now working on the pilot project on strategic environmental assessment of "Nur-Sultan Master plan until 2035"; has been consulting different companies on legal requirements to collection, processing and protection of personal data; processing of electronic tobacco heating systems, waste management, registration, import and sale of pharmaceuticals. Raiymbek has been working to obtain a license to provide services in the field of nuclear energy; he has been participating in a due diligence on renewable energy sources and in many other projects.
