GRATA International law firm is taking part in the MINEX Kazakhstan Forum 2022

The MINEX Kazakhstan 2022 Forum and Exhibition will be held in Nur-Sultan on 6-7 April 2022 in a hybrid format offering offline and online participation options.

Venue: Nur-Sultan, «Radisson Astana» hotel.

The MINEX Forum is one of the most influential mining events in the Central Asia. Every year, the Forum brings together over 400 leaders from the national and international mining and exploration companies, ministries and other governmental organisations, investment funds and banks, service companies and equipment manufacturers.  

Almat Daumov and Samat Daumov, Partners of GRATA International in Almaty and Nur-Sultan will represent the firm and speak at the Forum.

Almat Daumov will moderate the first session: New impetus for the development of metals and mining in Kazakhstan, as well as a speaker for this session on the topic: "Legal issues of doing mining business in Kazakhstan and solutions".

GRATA International Mongolia held a webinar on Doing Business

On March 4, 2022, the Mongolian office held a webinar on Doing Business online.

The speakers were: Bolormaa Volodya, Partner; Buyanjargal Tungalag and Solongo Gansukh, Associates.

Lawyers of GRATA International Almaty office spoke at the Working Group "Taxes, Logistics & Law" hosted by the German Economy Union in the Republic of Kazakhstan

On February 22, 2022 the meeting of the working group "Taxes, Logistics & Law" was held at the Representative Office of the German Economy in Central Asia.

During the meeting, Askar Konysbayev, Partner and Zhandarbek Ramazan, Counsel of GRATA International, Litigation Department, discussed the Processes of Administrative procedural and process-related code (APPC) following the results of a six-month practice of introducing the APPC into force.

The following issues were covered:

• APPC - the consequences of the introduction into force (introduced from July 1, 2021)
• Administrative procedure
• Administrative Proceeding
• Practical aspects (statistics for half a year).
