Bakhodir Jabborov
Managing Partner

Mr. Jabborov is admitted to practice in Uzbekistan since 2000. Mr. Jabborov has considerable knowledge and experience in areas of natural resources and infrastructure development.  Mr. Jabborov has acted for leading global multinational companies and international financial institutions advising on a variety of regulatory issues pertaining to natural resources, equity investment and other similar matters from the perspective of Uzbek law. His current work also includes subsoil law, with particular emphasis on mining, oil and gas upstream/downstream operations, and M&A transactions. 

Atabek Sharipov
Partner

Atabek leads GRATA International’s banking and project finance practice in Uzbekistan. He focuses on cross-border and secured transactions. He has valid experience of structuring multi-jurisdictional financial transactions, negotiating major terms of foreign law governed financing agreements with the government and local parties, drafting and negotiating domestic law governed project documents for lenders and international investors.

Atabek joined GRATA International in 2005. He acts for a broad range of financial institutions and foreign investors including development banks, private companies and major financial institutions, private banks and trading firms. He advises on all aspects of Uzbek corporate and foreign exchange laws, cross border financing including secured transactions. 

Dilorom Yuldasheva

Dilorom Yuldasheva is Head of Corporate practice. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in International Law, Private International Law, Civil Law, and Labour Law.

Before joining GRATA International, Dilorom spent over nine years as a Contracts Lawyer and Compliance Officer with a leading U.S. automobile manufacturer operating in Uzbekistan. Her background in both corporate legal practice and international compliance provides her with a well-rounded perspective that is highly valuable to clients navigating complex legal and regulatory environments. Dilorom`s current practice includes corporate law matters, conducting Legal Due Diligences, assisting with companies structuring and advising on M&A transactions, establishing and liquidation of legal entities, advising on employment matters, obtaining various licenses, etc.

Irina Obukhova
Partner

Irina Obukhova is a licensed attorney at law and Head of Dispute Resolution practice. She specialises in commercial, contract, criminal, administrative and civil law.

She is practiced in the provision of legal assistance to citizens and legal entities on the representation of interests in courts of various jurisdiction, legal support of organisations for the conduct of economic activities and representation in different instances. Her practice covers providing legal assistance in criminal, civil, administrative and economic cases during preliminary investigation, pre-trial preparation of cases, representation of interests in court and administrative bodies, preparation, endorsement of legal acts, and legal analysis of documents.

Nodir Yuldashev
Partner

Nodir Yuldashev is Head of Tax, Infrastructure and Construction practice. Nodir’s main areas of focus are Uzbek commercial and contract laws, as well as taxation of residents and non-residents of Uzbekistan.

Prior to joining GRATA International Nodir  has worked as head of legal department at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and as a senior legal consultant at the State Bankruptcy Committee. He has considerable experience in cross-border and domestic investment, trade and construction projects.

Nodir is an international arbitrator at the court of international arbitration under the chamber of commerce and industry of Kazakhstan as well as an arbitrator at the court of arbitration under the chamber of commerce and industry of Uzbekistan.

Ikbal Said Alauddin
Managing Partner

Ikbal began his legal career in 2013, gaining expertise in labor, contract, and business law. Over the years, he advised both multinational and local companies on business operations in Turkmenistan, including licensing and regulatory compliance, and provided ongoing legal support to local enterprises.

In 2016, he joined the Central Asia regional team of a major multinational, where he supported legal and compliance functions across the region. 

In 2020, Ikbal became a partner at a local firm, where he introduced alternative dispute resolution practices. Since 2021, he has served as Managing Partner at a law firm, continuing his focus on business law and cross-border advisory.

Mekan Bashimov
Counsel

Mekan brings over 10 years of experience in tax, finance, and business analysis, having developed deep expertise across industries such as public infrastructure, construction, automotive, and petroleum. With an MBA in Finance, Mekan has worked with multinational petroleum companies under profit-sharing agreements, demonstrating his ability to navigate and advise on complex tax structuring and compliance projects.

Currently, Mekan is pursuing the Canadian CPA designation to further enhance his professional qualifications.
