The client’s contract contained conflicting provisions regarding the terms and conditions for cargo discharge. The defense of the charterer’s interests was based on the application of statutory and judicial interpretation methods to resolve these inconsistencies.

Following a detailed analysis, it was established that the shipowner had included in the calculation time that should not have been counted, while the charterer had completed the unloading within the time frame stipulated in the contract.

On May 28, 2025, the Kyrgyz Republic successfully completed its first-ever sovereign bond issuance, raising USD 700 million in five-year bonds with an annual coupon rate of 7.75%.
