We would like to congratulate Anora Turakhujaeva on her promotion to the Head of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Practice.

Anora specialises in issues of regulation of financial technologies, media resources, telecommunications, commercial, contract law, protection of personal data, etc. Her practice includes the provision of legal assistance to international financial institutions in connection with cross-border financing and security under Uzbek laws, advising international corporations on natural resources, oil and gas, advertising, microfinance services. Anora has a broad experience in advising on data privacy matters and protection of personal data. Her clients include Facebook, Twitter, WeChat, etc. Anora is detail oriented, energetic, and hard-working with a strong sense of commitment and loyalty
to the clients.

We would like to congratulate Olmoskhon Khamidova on her promotion to the Counsel position and to the Head of the Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Practice and the Intellectual Property Practice.

Olmoskhon`s main focus areas are Intellectual property law and regulations of pharmaceutical sphere. She specialises in the registration, commercialization and protection of the intellectual property objects. Her practice includes advising on general intellectual property and unfair competition-related matters, including advising companies carrying out activities in the field of streaming services and pharmaceuticals. She has a proven track record of providing comprehensive legal advice to both Uzbek and international companies, assisting them navigate the complexities of the Uzbek legal system and achieve their business objectives. Her clients include Accor, Paulaner, Costa Coffee, Wolt, Siemens, Papa John`s, Dr Reddy`s, etc. Olmoskhon is responsible, cooperative, client-oriented lawyer. She consistently demonstrates strong leadership skills and plays an active role as a team leader, fostering collaboration and ensuring high standards of client service.

We would like to congratulate Bakhodir Karimov on his promotion to the Senior Associate position.

Bakhodir specialises in various areas of law, including corporate law, commercial law, antitrust and competition laws. He has extensive experience in registering the companies, joint ventures, obtaining licenses and permits, as well as in conducting due diligence of companies and real estate objects. Bakhodir has been involved in assisting the following clients: Hyndai Auto Asia, KIA, Knauf, AUIC, ADUI, UzDIF, Western Union, Mastercard, Ozon, etc. Bakhodir is committed to his work, he is detail-oriented, highly-committed, cooperative and an enthusiastic fast learner. We would like to congratulate Shakhzod Alimkhodjaev on his promotion to the Senior Associate position.

His areas of focus are PPP, investment and banking and finance practice. The main areas of his work include advising clients on the implementation of PPP and investment projects, assisting in the registration of international companies in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the registration of microfinance organizations and non-governmental non-commercial organizations, as well as the support of foreign entities on a number of other issues, including: pledging of property, compliance checks of various types of corporate documents and contracts, assessment of risks associated with implementation of different transactions. Shakhzod has been involved in assisting the following clients: ADB, EBRD, IFC, World Bank, ITFC, ICBCS, etc. Shakhzod is an efficient, hard-working, and results-driven legal professional, known for his analytical thinking, strategic problem-solving approach, and ability to deliver practical solutions under pressure.

We would like to congratulate Nadina Akhmedova on her promotion to the Senior Associate position.

Nadina`s focus area is finance transactions, including project finance, public-private partnership (PPP) and infrastructure transactions in Uzbekistan. Nadina has assisted in advising financial institutions and foreign companies on complex financing structures, investing in business ventures, granting loans cross-border transactions, commercial matters and concluding and terminating contracts under Uzbek law. Her practice also includes advising companies on antimonopoly regulation and assisting in obtaining permits from the antimonopoly authority for share transfers. She is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in various areas of law. She provides comprehensive legal advice to international financial institutes and companies. Nadina has been involved in assisting the following clients: ADB, EBRD, IFC, World Bank, ITFC, ICBCS, etc.

We would like to congratulate Javokhir Urinov on his promotion to the Senior Associate position.

His areas of focus are corporate law, contract law, labour law, and e-commerce law. Javokhir has experience in civil and commercial law. His practice includes advising on corporate matters, provision of legal assistance in registering international companies in Uzbekistan, and obtaining various licenses and work permits for foreigners, including advising companies carrying out activities in the field of streaming services, natural resources, oil and gas.
