Establishment of AIFC - based holding structure for a global water technology corporation

The GRATA International St. Petersburg office successfully established a holding structure in the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) for a global water technology corporation. The project, completed under tight deadlines, involved high legal complexity and cross-border structuring.

Our team consolidated ownership of international subsidiaries under AIFC jurisdiction, utilizing English law trusts for effective asset management, governance continuity, and regulatory compliance. We conducted a corporate rights audit, developed transfer scenarios, and coordinated with the AIFC with a strong focus on due diligence, KYC/AML, and anti-corruption compliance.

This joint effort between two GRATA offices showcased our ability to integrate English legal instruments into Russian-led projects, delivering a secure platform for the client’s international growth β†’
