We are pleased to announce the promotion of Galiya Mukhanbet and Altynay Sovet to the position of Senior Associate!

Galiya Mukhanbet has been promoted to the position of Senior Associate.

Galiya has been a valued member of the GRATA team since joining us in 2020. Throughout her time at GRATA, she has consistently shown outstanding commitment and professional development. Galiya is a highly educated professional with a Bachelor's degree from Al-Farabi University in Almaty, where she graduated with distinction. She is proficient in four languages: Russian, English, Chinese, and Kazakh.

Prior to joining GRATA Law Firm, she was involved in organizing cooperation negotiations between Chinese provincial trade promotion councils, commerce departments, and entrepreneurs' associations, and various relevant departments in Kazakhstan.

Altynay Sovet has been promoted to the position of Senior Associate.


Altynay has been a valued member of the GRATA team since joining us in 2023. Throughout her tenure, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and growth. Altynay is a highly educated professional with a Bachelor's degree from Peking University and a Master's degree from the University of Oxford. She is proficient in three languages: Russian, English, and Chinese.


Prior to joining GRATA Law Firm, she worked at several prestigious organizations, including the Embassy of Kazakhstan to P.R.C., the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.


Altynay’s diverse experience has equipped her with strong research, communication, and analytical skills, making her a valuable member of the GRATA International team.
