GRATA International will hold online conference within Corporate Law practice

In this regard, we are pleased to remind you that on February 28th, 2023, we will hold an online conference on Corporate governance and M&A in Belarus, Georgia, Mongolia, Russia and Uzbekistan.

The conference will be held in two panel sessions:

The first session will be dedicated to the corporate law issues of Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan (session language - Russian).

The second session will be dedicated to the corporate law issues of Georgia, Mongolia (session language - English).

Gulnur Nurkeyeva recognized as the A-list Lawyer by China Business Law Journal

We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Gulnur Nurkeeva, Partner, Head of GRATA International China Office, has been recognized as the A-list Lawyer 2022 by China Business Law Journal. 

The A-List by China Business Law Journal recognises the private practising lawyers that have fulfilled this role most admirably over the past year. More than 10,000 in-house counsel and corporate executives in China and around the world, partners at Chinese and international law firms, as well as legal professionals from a wide range of practices were reached out to recommend lawyers that they believe to be the most deserving of recognition.

Out of thousands of candidates, nominated lawyers were contacted to submit further materials, including notable performances and significant deals conducted during the past 18 months, to help in making more informed decisions.

The final list is the aggregate result of market nominations, own submitted supportive information of candidates, and independent research conducted by the editorial team of China Business Law Journal.

This year, the A-List includes 150 practitioners of Chinese law and 120 international lawyers committed to China-related business, among which Mrs. Gulnur Nurkeyeva was recognized as one of the most elite foreign lawyers.

GRATA International Kazakhstan is an official Partner at the Eurasian Pharmaceutical Forum 2023

The 14th International Eurasian Pharmaceutical Forum 2023 will take place from February 28 to March 1, 2023 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event will be in-person + online format. The forum will provide an opportunity to meet with leading players of the pharmaceutical market - regulators of the market, international and local pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors and pharmacy chains - to discuss the topical issues facing the industry today and to forecast its further development.

Shakhrukh Usmanov and Aliya Zhumekenova, Partners of GRATA International Kazakhstan, will take part at the Forum as speakers and delegates. 

Aliya Zhumekenova will speak on the "Production development and localization opportunities: difficulties and preferences" with the topic: "Localization in Kazakhstan: key legal issues and concerns during the Focus-session".

The Forum is expected to have 300 + participants, as well as 100 + speakers, including representatives of international pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors.
