GRATA International attends the 5th Anniversary Plenary Meeting of the Kazakhstan Canada Business Council (KCBC)

On November 25, 2022, Samat Daumov, Partner, and Ainura Takeyeva, Counsel of GRATA International Astana attended the conference dedicated to the 5th Anniversary Plenary Meeting of the Kazakhstan Canada Business Council.

The main goal of the KCBC is to promote cooperation, trade, and investment between companies and organizations in Kazakhstan and Canada. The KCBC comprises Canadian and Kazakhstani businesses, meeting once every two years to address issues pertinent to cooperation and bilateral trade between the two countries.

GRATA International hosted a webinar on Redomiciliation of holding companies

On December 14, 2022, GRATA offices in Cyprus, Kazakhstan and Russia held a webinar on the topic: "Redomiciliation of holding companies from Cyprus and other offshore jurisdictions to AIFC".

Vyacheslav Khorovskiy, Managing Partner of GRATA Moscow, moderated the webinar.

GRATA International held an online conference on the topic: Personal data of employees

On December 8, 2022, an international online conference on the topic: “Features of working with personal data of employees" in GRATA jurisdictions: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia" was held.

The conference was opened with a welcoming speech by the moderators Mikhail German, Partner, and Nanuka Chkuaseli, Senior Associate and was held in two sessions in Russian and English.

The speakers shared their experience on the personal data of employees in their jurisdictions and answered questions of interest to the audience.

Almat Daumov, Partner took part in MINEX Eurasia Mining 2022

On November 28, 2022 in London, the 10th MINEX Eurasia Mining Conference was held in London, which attracted the experience of over 30 industry experts, senior officials and companies. During the conference was discussed the changes, challenges and opportunities in the mining industry in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and mining hotspots in Europe.

Almat Daumov,  Partner at GRATA International Kazakhstan participated during the 1st session on geopolitics and its impact on the present and future of mining in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia, and he talked about particularly on "Kazakhstan: facilitation of investment in mining industry".
