UK hotel quarantine confirmed for Brits returning from 'red list' countries Travelers returning to the UK from "red list" countries will be sent to quarantine hotels for 10 days, Boris Johnson has announced. The Prime Minister told the Commons on Wednesday that passengers will be "met at the airport and transported directly into quarantine". The ban is finally being brought in, but it will only apply to a red list of countries with new variants - where travel by non-Brits to the UK was already banned Fortunately, Afghanistan is still not into this red list.
