Hi all!Today I have a post on a new and the weekly news, enjoy!
The blog post!Today is all about autumn! Now we are midway through fall, I wanted to share some photos from this awesome season :)
Top 3 Headlines:
- After over 15 years, Android co-founder: Rich Miner reveiled the renders of Googles first phone. Ever since Miner joined Google after the aquistion of Android in 2005 and built it from their. This render was shared in a thread of misconseptions about tech and reveiled that they began working on a phone in 2005, not to compete with Apple but due to worry of Microsofts Mobile development at the time. These renders were actually released in Googles first phone but Google ended up taking a year longer to finish developing the device: The Google G1. If you know a lot about the smartphone market, you'll know that this was the first Android phone but Google didn't have the resources to make it themselves, that is why HTC made the phone and released it as the T-Mobile G1 and dropped the Google name. Here's a link to the twitter thread where Rich Miner revealed all of this, really interesting to see that Google had 2 phone models/formfactors ready at the same time as Apple and the iPhone 1 but just didn't have the resources to manufacture and wasn't aware that Apple was ahead of them and the developers at the time thought Microsoft was more of a threat.- In other news, DJI released the Mavic 3 Classic! This new drone features a 20mp CMOS 4/3 sensor from Hasselblad. This sensor allows you to record up to 5.1k 50fps and down to 1080p at 200fps. The drone costs $1469 and $1749 to include the controller. Some other cool stuff includes the 46min flight time per battery and 9+ mile range. - Canon released the EOS R6 Mark II as its successor to the EOS R6 with boosted specs and the removal of the worst thing in Canon cameras for over a decade. So, 4k 30fps for MORE THAN 30 MINUTES! Yep, canon has removed the recording limit of Canon cameras that has plagued Canon users since the first video DSLR from Canon: the EOS 5d Mark II. Every single camera in the last 15 years from Canon has had the exact same 29 minute and 59 second record limit. Finally, this camera can record for a maximum of 50 minutes with 4k 60fps. Wait though, since every other resolution (up to 4k 30fps) has no limit at all! In theory it could go up to 6 hours, which is absurd! Obviously the camera could overheat before then, but if you are shooting in a cold climate, you will be totally fine with this camera. Exciting to see that record limit removed for the most part! That is it for today! Thanks for reading! :)
