Here are some photos from the plane window of the landscape and clouds over the ocean and views from the area around Edinburgh.

Top 3 Headlines:

- Google made some very exciting announcments for ChromeOS Apps. The largest is after a decade of anticipation, Google is finally reviving Movie Studio which was the origional video editor for ChromeOS. Now, this is far more advanced and different than that barebones editor. Google announced a "Movie Editor" in ChromeOS via Google Photos. It looks very good with features pro editing apps don't have like Real Tone as a filter to better represent skin tones. It also features AI edits based on people or pets that you select! It seems to be a great balance of a simple UI with AI powered edits and manual edits with filters and text. From the screenshots shared it seems it will be a single video and audio track editor meaning you can't overlay different videos but that may be changing in the coming months as development continues... I'll quickly touch on the other announcments too! The experimental PDF editor that looks phenominal is now going to be in a full release. It is definelty one of the best PDF editors I've used. Screencast and Cursive also are updating but I'm not sure what the features are yet... Finally the launcher recieved an overhaul abandoning the two tone look and going with a Light/Dark theme. I do miss having a dark dock and light browser though so I hope in the future they revive that with a middle toggle merging the two themes.

- Google has been in a lot of headlines so I do want to mention another thing. Leaks of the Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 7 Ultra (speculation), and Pixel Tablet all came out in a very short period of time. There are two theorys and I have to say the second one is what I would LOVE to see. Google is no longer going to use the IMX355 selfie camera on flagship devices (7 and 7 Pro). Rumor says they'll transition to Samsungs 3J1 sensor... The other speculation is that the telephoto in the 7 Pro will no longer be the IMX586 and will instead be a GM1 from Samsung. I definetly don't like that change since the telephoto was the best camera on the 7 Pro and Samsungs sensors seemed to lag behind in detail... I'll mention the tablet specualtions before moving onto the other more speculative leaks. Google may use a dual IMX355 setup on the front and back of the Pixel Tablet... this would be a bit dissapointing considering the IMX355 lags behind Googles well known IMX363 used on A Pixels. The IMX355 is 8mp and autofocus isn't superb with lots of noise in images. This would be a dissapointing camera setup and I'd prefer to stick the IMX355 as selfie only with an IMX363. Anyways, the more speculative leak that could just be Googles experimental teams is a device code named Lynx inside Google. This device is using VERY different cameras that I genuinly prefer... This leak still confirms Google is happy with the main sensor (GM1) but wants to use an IMX787 for the telephoto which would be an impressive upgrade... This telephoto sensor is the same size as the GM1 meaning the amount of light it captures helps produce phenominal photos. I am suprised since many people liked the telephoto camera more than the main GM1. The final bit of specualtion points towards Google testing an unreleased Sony sensor for the ultrawide. This is the IMX712 which would replace the current IMX386 which struggles with quality compared to the main sensor of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. A lot of speculation but I hope Google does settle with a Sony sensor since I prefer them in most cases compared to Samsungs sensors.

- Google drive competitor Amazon Drive is shutting its doors. This very unpopular service was an alternative place for documents and photos. Amazon says that the Amazon Photos portion of the Drive will remain open and the document side of it is what will close... This has caused many angry users, especailly those with terabytes of files on the drive. Nobody would expect this service to shut down despite having a small user base, Amazon clearly realized their service wasn't capable of competing with Google Drive, DropBox, Box, iCloud, etc.

Some complicated news this week but I hope I was able to touch on all of the key points! Thanks for reading!
