Top 3 Headlines:

- An intruiging bit of software news came out in the past week as a mars probe recieves its first update in over 19 years! With new changes the probe will have improved detail when looking at Mars moons giving it some extra years in service depsite the extremely small memory capacity and sluggish performance compared to newer satilites.

- Amazon released a new Kindle (12th gen Fire) with some new features and hardware. The notable change is it is the first Android update change in a number of years but Amazon still refuses to put the latest release of Android on the tablet and keeping the Kindle on Android 11. The UI has some suttle changes but I personally don't think it looks super modern. In an age where Android tablets very attractive at $400+ price points it is sad to see an awful lack of inovation in the budget sector. A welcomed change did come with the USB-C port, but I can't help knowing this is to please the EU's new mandates to force all new electronics to use this. It is a bigger step than Apple is willing to take just 2 years before the mandate goes into effect so that is a slight positive for Amazon. We need a Google Pixel tablet more than ever.

- ChromeOS will recieve a new Chrome feature ahead of the rest of the world bringing a big new change for video calls in the browser. Right now if you use Chrome or a Chromium based browser to share your screen you get to choose a tab or full screen share. Now, you can have just a portion of your screen shared. This is a universal change that everything from Discord to Zoom to Google Meet will recieve and is very welcomed considering it will be used by over a billion people, possibly more. This will be available for ChromeOS soon with all devices recieving it in a few weeks.

That is all for today, thanks for reading and watching!
