Happy Friday Everyone!

It is another week which means I have a blog post, news, and more to share with you! Let's get into it!

Astrovideo - Main Blog

To start off this week's newsletter, I have the weekly newsletter! This week I wrote about the incredible capabilities of the new Google Pixel Astrovideo mode and what this might mean for the future. I also talk a lot about the photography side of things too! You can check out this post using the blue button below!

Windows 11!

If you didn't hear, Microsoft just announced Windows 11 yesterday! The event was pretty long, so I condensed the events key points down into a 10-minute video! You can check that out with the green button below! If you are wondering about release dates, I have been seeing that it will likely be around the Holidays.

News!

Now it is time for the news from this week and what I missed last week!

- At the end of last week, Microsoft issued a DMCA complaint because a site was hosting a Windows 11 ISO. (I have no clue what that means either)

- Amazon is being nice and reduced the money that they take from developers on the Amazon App Store. Note that this was a few months after Google and Apple did it. Good try Amazon. 😂

- Google is working on a replacement device tracking network for whenever you lose you android device! It will be like Apple's network, but hopefully better... Or just the same.

- Here is a cool petapixel story about an undeveloped film that was found miles away from it's origin. I didn't just copy the title... Okay, I did.

- Leica released a phone! Yes, the camera company that normally works with other companies made their own phone! Digital Camera World reports that the body of the phone is a lot like a Sharp phone but the camera is unique and holds the record for the largest camera on a phone.

- A Sony Xperia phone went through fcc approval, meaning that it may come soon! I always think that Sony phones are fun because of their cool video features, so I am hoping that Sony has been innovating.

- We had some rumours that the Canon R3 sensor was being made by Sony. IDK who would actually believe that, but Canon says no.

Now onto this week's news!

- Inventory is low for the Google Pixel 5 and 4a5G, and it is either manufacturing issues or a new phone is coming soon. Most likely manufacturing issues though.

- Phone companies OnePlus and Oppo merged and something that it is the best thing ever, and others think that there is literally going to be no change.

- 9to5Google did a study to see who would actually buy a foldable Pixel phone, and results show that they are worried that the hardware won't be great. Google definitely is known for it's software but I think that they have made some pretty cool hardware.

- A new Xiaomi phone could use a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 Sensor! Cool!

- The 2nd Gen Pixel buds went out of stock, which I thought was interesting since Google just released a "budget" earbud, and it is unlikely that they'll release the next gen.

- Squash 3 is some sort of photo editing app which I may look into trying just was made available on the new Macbooks in beta stages.

- Back to Canon because we may not be getting the Canon EOS R3 soon do to chip shortages. All companies are struggling, and Nikon might also delay the Z8.

- A 2.2 GIGAPIXEL photo was taken in only 4.5 HOURS! Yeah, just a few hours for a huge photo! Check out this PetaPixel article for more!

- There was an update to Premiere Pro for it's 30th Birthday!

- The Galaxy Chromebook Go launched with a name that is all to familiar (Pixelbook Go).

- A Pinhole lens launched from Lensbaby, and it costs $280!!! It is very inexpensive compared to other pinholes and very innovative!

- The Worldwide chip shortage is expected to get worse, according to the Verge.

- Instagram is testing a new posting mechanic.

- A leak for a Canon 14-35 MM has been revealed!

- One thing that was shown in the Microsoft launch event that isn't being talked about too much is the new WordPress app! This could be good or bad because this would be the third Windows app for WordPress... Also it is rated M. Um, What?!

- Lastly, John McAfee was found dead in a Spanish prison, likely from suicide. He was in prison do to tax evasion. I don't really know the management situation at McAfee, so I don't know how this will change the program for users.

That is it! Thank you so much for reading! I am actually sending this newsletter out early today! It'll make up for me being 20 minutes late last week!

Have a nice week everyone!
