Hi there, FYI this is not an email about gear, or the outdoors. You may know that our old store was a host site for 2 organic farm-to-you CSA (community supported agriculture) programs, and we'd like to restart them at our new store.
If you are interested, do NOT sign up on the farm's website, REPLY BACK to us directly so we can connect you to skip the waitlist! How it works 1) You subscribe to a regular farm-box delivery (e.g., once a week, once every other week, once a month, etc.) 2) The farm-box is delivered to Last Minute Gear's shop at 563 Sutter on select days 3) You pick up (anytime 10am to midnight on delivery day; we try to store for an extra day if we can if you forget) & enjoy!
CSA programs basically bring the farmer's market to your neighborhood, and are more supportive for the farms because it streamlines their operations! We historically hosted 2 programs: Full Belly Farm & Frog Hollow Farm, both very popular at farmer's markets across the Bay!
Full Belly Farm - Organic seasonal veggies, with some fruit depending on season (photo above) - ~$20/box (feeds ~2-3 for the week)*** - Various add-ons available (flowers, meat, egg, nuts, processed goods like broth, flour, sauces or jams) - Delivery date likely to be Wed (possibly Sat) Frog Hollow Farm - Organic, seasonal fruit only (but see add ons available)
- ~$15/small box (3.5 lbs), ~$30 large box (7 lbs)***
