Hi there, Hope this message finds you well in chaotic times! We will miss the home of our old store in the Mission - thanks for a great couple of years! Our new store is located at 563 Sutter St, about 1 block behind Union Square, 5 blocks from Powell St Station, in the heart of San Francisco! Early customers will remember we started out nearby on Post St; we're back! All existing orders will pickup from & return to the new address (scheduled courier or shipping services have not changed). Sorry if this seems abrupt! Though it was planned for some time, not everyone got the first memo (see email updates**), and it got finalized super last minute. The short reason for why we're moving is COVID. While we are super grateful to still be operating a business, we've been severely affected by the pandemic (and now the fires) and this move was critical to help sustain us. How we are operating Due to COVID-related operational challenges, we are still not allowing walk-in customers. However, because we've had our self-service lockers for awhile, we have been using them to offer all 3 programs: buy, rent, and borrow. Please check our homepage for the latest on How It Works & our COVID-safety protocols. Right now, we are unsure when we'll return to walk-in customers again; we're hoping by the holidays! On the bright side, our new store is actually bigger, more space to browse, test out gear, try on clothes, etc. Getting to the new store We heard that a majority of you rely on cars to visit us. The good news is downtown has no shortage of yellow commercial loading zones (we're working to convert the 2 directly in front of our store to such zones), which can be used for a few minutes with an attended non-commercial vehicle***. This hopefully will provide a chance for you to quickly pickup/dropoff with our lockers. We also heard that our new downtown location would be more convenient for people who work in downtown SF but live outside the city (once some people return to the office again?!). Now offering - SLEEPING PAD repairs!! For those pesky holes that are too small to find that really ruin a night's sleep (and an expensive pad), we're offering a full submersion test, patch, and test for $28. We may also be able to repair other items, please feel free to reach out! As we get a sense for what people want, common issues, etc., we'll be able to put together a more comprehensive "menu".
