12/3 Social Ride

On Sunday, December 3, we're hosting our monthly Swami's Social Ride. It’s a conversationally-paced ride where you can meet long-time as well as new Swami’s members. You can check out all of the details here. A reminder: we now start and finish the Social Rides at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in Bressi Ranch (map). Wear a Swami's kit from any year to get a free coffee and baked good! 

12/9 Canyon Umpteenth Annual Holiday Toy Ride

On Saturday, December 9, we’ll join the Holiday Toy Ride and Toy Drive hosted at the Canyon Showroom headquarters in Carlsbad (map). The Toy Ride benefitis Ronald McDonald House and Children's Hospital Oncology and The Mitchell Thorpe Foundation, and we will be riding in honor of Jocelyn Croxen. #jocelynstrong. Donate an unwrapped toy, and help put a smile on a child's face. Coffee and light pastries will be provided before the ride. Food and refreshments, donated by Rouleur, will be provided after the ride. Details:

12/17 Donut Ride

On Sunday, December 17, we’ll join the famous Donut Ride, leaving from Cadence Cyclery at 8:15 AM. It is the same route as the Swami’s San Clemente LSD, but at a non-LSD pace and with a stop at Surfin Donuts. The ride is usually moderate on the way out and picks up on the way home, once the donuts kick in. PS: Don’t worry if you don’t have a base pass. A Swami’s member has graciously agreed to be our military sponsor.

12/30 Coronado Ride

On Saturday, December 30, our annual Coronado ride tradition returns! We’ll leave from Cadence Cyclery (map) and head through downtown San Diego, then along the Silver Strand to Coronado, where we’ll take the ferry back across the bay and ride back to the start. See our Coronado Ride post for all the details. Remember to bring $8.00 per person for the ferry crossing, or pay beforehand at this link. We’ll let you decide whether to Strava the ferry ride.

Kit Order Update

Our October kit order window went so well, we know a record number of people will be riding in the Swami's 2024 kit! So when is New Kit Day? We expect to receive the kits around the end of January or beginning of February. For those who chose the bulk shipment option, we’ll make them available from a convenient location. More details to come!
