RUSSIAN-ISRAEL FILMMAKERS MEET

A co-production agreement between Russia and Israel is due to sign in the fall of 2021. The two countries already have experienced fruitful cooperation, but the future agreement will strengthen the existing relationship even more. At the networking event in the Russian Pavilion Russian and Israeli film foundations and producers will discuss the possibilities of future cooperation, features of the co-production process and plans for joint projects after the ratification of the agreement.

WOMEN'S CINEMA IN RUSSIA

There are more and more successful women in the Russian film industry – directors, producers, cameramen, screenwriters, editors – and their projects are winning prestigious awards and recognition in the country and abroad. A round table dedicated to women in the Russian cinema and creative industries will discuss the position of women in the traditionally male field of film and content production, as well as the evolution of the term ‘female cinema’ in Russia.
