Our next 3182 Beach Patrol community clean will be in the area around St Kilda Pier and it will be a special Clean Up Australia event in partnership with Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron.

Ian Kiernan AO, founder of the Clean Up Australia movement, was a great friend of Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron and a source of inspiration to Beach Patrol Australia in keeping our streets, beaches and waterways free of litter and reducing plastic waste.

We are expecting a good crowd of people and expanding the clean up area to include the beach areas north and south of the pier and the area around the Yacht Squadron and Catani Gardens. 

We will clean for about an hour and then work together to sort, weigh and count the litter collected. After the clean, patrollers are invited to the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron to enjoy the view and the vibes, and the chance to purchase a coffee at the bar. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the Club House view and facilities, you might even be inspired to consider a Community Membership!
