Happy Imbolc!

February 1st is traditionally celebrated as Imbolc, Candlemas and St. Brigid's Day. It's the beginning of early spring when we begin to notice the lengthening days and the return of the light. It is the honouring of the triple Goddess, Brigid, in her Maiden state of fertility and potency.

Now that all the planets are in forward motion, we should be experiencing a dynamic acceleration and expansion, providing wonderful opportunities for us to grow spiritually.

February Energy Update ~ "The New You!"

With all planets in forward motion, we are going to see an acceleration of the energies with a powerful Full Moon in Leo and a New Moon in the 55th Gene Key later in the month of February. Time to let go of the old and open to the new you!

Monday Meditations

I am continuing with the long-distance zoom connection on Mondays at 6:30 pm Pacific. The zoom meditation is open to anyone who wishes to attend from around the globe. Please send an email to descendingdove@gmail.com for further information.

We have begun in-person Thursday morning meditation, limited to 8 people, and by invitation only to those who were previously involved.

I'm  committed to  continuing my work with one-on-one Gene Key sessions, which have proven to be profound experiences for many. I also work with groups or businesses who are starting out on a new venture. I look at the profile of each team member, the birth profile of the company/project, and how those involved can best work together while bringing their individual gifts to the fore in a wonderful co-creative fashion. 

This process has fantastic potential for maximizing efficiency and success. Projects often fail because of the challenges that arise through human ego and shadow, and this process can reveal what those potential challenges could be before they arise. This process can also be used to resolve issues that may already exist within an organization.

Breaking Free!

Many of you know that my daughter Angela and her family set off on a journey across Canada last summer spreading love across the country through their Choose Love initiative. Finishing on the east coast in Nova Scotia, they decided to head to Mexico travelling through the Eastern Seaboard of America, eventually coming inland and ending up in Tucson, Arizona. From there they crossed the border into Mexico and arrived in Mazatlán. Having travelled over 20,000 Kms, they decided to stop and have a break from travelling. They are still there, and I got invited to go down to spend some time with them. I had a ten-day visit which provided me with a break from winter and work while spending some quality time with the family. It was great fun playing in the surf with my two Grandsons while enjoying some warm sunshine!

I made sure that I was back in time for the super New Moon on Saturday January 21^st at zero degrees of Aquarius. This was the second major impulse of the entry into the Age of Aquarius following the Great Conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter on the Winter Solstice 2020. There was a really interesting aspect to this New Moon occurring in the 41^st Gene Key, start codon to get things moving forward.

Pluto was in an out of sign conjunction at 29 degrees of Capricorn, conjunct the Sun and Moon at zero degrees Aquarius. 29 degrees is called the critical degree, the final closing of those energies. In this case the transformation (Pluto) of the old top down structures and belief patterns (Capricorn). However, a remarkable series of events is going to take place.

Pluto is very slow-moving and takes 250 years to go around the astrological wheel once. It will move out of Capricorn on March 23^rd, 2023, but then will turn retrograde and come back over this cusp point, go forward and come back again before finally clearing out of Capricorn and into Aquarius in November 2024. So it will cross this point five times over the course of the next two years. I believe its job is to eke out all of the hidden secrets and corruption that we are witnessing in the World to set us up for our personal freedom in the new age of Aquarius.

It is important to realize that as we witness the dissolving and dismantling of the old World, we are also dissolving and dismantling our old selves at the same time. All the things we used to rely on for our safety and security will also be disappearing. What is left for us to hang onto? All that remains is our own sense of inner core stability. The confidence to know that we have the ability inside ourselves to cope with whatever comes next. This is where I find the Gene Keys so powerful in helping us to connect with that deep core stability inside us through our purpose in life.   

Another fascinating astrological situation occurs on the Full Moon in Leo on February 5^th. It occurs at 16 degrees of Leo which is the precise mid-point between the Eclipses on November 8^th, 2022 in Scorpio and May 5^th, 2023 in Taurus. The Leo energy is about shining our brightest light out into the World from deep within.

The eclipses on the Taurus/Scorpio axis have been encouraging us to let go of everything that no longer serves us in our lives, including beliefs, people, work, and old habits (Scorpio). Then beginning to build the new future you, and the World that you are going to co-create for yourself with other members of your soul tribe who are going to be showing up in the near future, if they haven’t already! (Taurus). Uranus turned direct at 15 degrees of Taurus on January 22^nd providing wonderful new and surprising opportunities for our future personal and collective freedom. In fact, all the planets are in forward motion for the next few months, so we are going to see a rapid acceleration and expansive period to support us! During this time Venus is moving through Pisces and will conjoin with Neptune around Valentines Day. A great opportunity to dream your greatest dream of your future life and the heart-centred loving connections that you are going to enjoy!

Another wonderfully supportive energy will occur on February 19/20^th when the New Moon will occur at 1 degree of Pisces and it will take place in the 55^th Gene Key which is the Gene Key of the Age of Aquarius. Here is the perfect opportunity to set your new intentions for your journey into the New Earth and ground those intentions into form, creating Heaven on Earth. It is critical that we hold to our truth and inner knowing as challenges continue to occur in the outer World.

One final comment is that from February 23^rd until March 9^th, Mars in Gene Key 45 and Jupiter in Gene key 21 opens the money channel according to the Human Design system so a great time to activate your abundance and financial prosperity!
