Welcome to the Dog Days of Summer which correspond to the Heliacal Rising of the Dog Star, Sirius, which happens between July 3rd and August 11th each year. The heat of the summer months.

We also celebrate Canada Day on July 1st and American Independence Day on July 4th. I hope we can all enjoy some warm summer Sun in celebration of Mother Earth!

Victoria, BC - Inaugural Gathering

CHOOSE LOVE Canada is travelling across the country this summer (2022) to hold simple community gatherings. 

The Victoria gathering on Sunday, June 26th, 2022 was the inaugural event! 

It was such a joyful occasion to meet together in person to play games, connect deeply, eat together, learn from one another in a beautiful park setting.

People of all ages felt the call to join and participate in this fantastic event!

These intergenerational gatherings are designed around the needs of children and the most vulnerable, with the intention of supporting our human family to unite in love and create a more positive, loving world. Families are especially encouraged to attend!

I also work with groups or businesses who are starting out on a new venture. I look at the profile of each team member, the birth profile of the company/project, and how those involved can best work together while bringing their individual gifts to the fore in a wonderful co-creative fashion. 

This process has fantastic potential for maximizing efficiency and success. Projects often fail because of the challenges that arise through human ego and shadow, and this process can reveal what those potential challenges could be before they arise. This process can also be used to resolve issues that may already exist within an organization.

Choose Love!

My daughter, Angela, and her family are setting off on their cross Canada adventure to spread love wherever they go. They are setting off on July 1^st which is entirely appropriate as it is Canada Day, to align their energies with Celebrating the birth of the country. They have sold their house and will be hitting the road in their Toyota truck, towing a tent trailer. An incredibly courageous move for Angela, Cameron, and their two sons, Ilia and Bryn, 9 & 11 years old.

In preparation for the journey, a group of us got together to co-create a medicine prayer bundle called a Despacho in the Q’ero tradition of the Andes of South America. It was hosted by Harry at Raven’s Ridge, where we do the majority of our Ceremonies in his very powerful energy vortex site.

Zia facilitated the building of the Despacho. There are three layers, representing the three Worlds: lower, middle, and upper. The lower world represents the seeds of our intention for the journey and includes sugar, sage, seeds, and kintus, which were groups of three basil leaves passed around the group for us to include all of our love, prayers, and blessings. The middle world is representative of the World that we live in, and includes flowers which have also all been blessed by the entire group. The upper world is the heaven world and represents the fruits of our labours, including a variety of fruits and many delicious symbols of our celebration!

Zia then very carefully wrapped the bundle and then we each received a "luminous wash" where the bundle is used to bless each individual person, about 20 people in all, by being gently passed over the body. We each took a turn giving and receiving the Despacho's blessing. It felt really good, full of love and abundance!

Typically, the bundle is then buried for a slow digestion or burned in the fire for a fast digestion. On this occasion, Zia and Cameron each received guidance for it to be released into the ocean for a moderate digestion as well as creating a second Despacho on the other side of the country and releasing it into the Atlantic Ocean - linking the two oceans together and integrating the entire journey across the country. Cameron duly went out on his surfboard a few days later to release the Despacho into the Pacific Ocean near Sombrio Beach on the Wild West Coast.

On Sunday, June 26^th, Angela and Cameron had their first launch event in Victoria at Playfair Park. It was the perfect location, taking place in a grove of Oak Trees in a lush green meadow, under sunny skies.

The intention is to bring people together across all ages from young children to seniors in a celebration of community, love, and collaboration. There were approximately 60 people present, representing all age groups.

Cameron invited us to join in with a series of games to connect us all together with people that we knew and those we did not. They were simple, fun games that anyone could play without any stress or fear of failure, and it worked perfectly. It was wonderful to see the many children present, just having a great time in safe, spontaneous play. Their next event will be on Sunday, July 3^rd in the lower mainland, just outside of Vancouver. July 4th, as well as being America’s Independence Day, is when the Star Sirius moves into a precise conjunction with our Sun but cannot be seen because of the Sun’s glare, re-appearing just before sunrise in the early dawn morning in mid-August. Not a coincidence this occurs on July 4th and there are man-made structures constructed to this alignment around the Globe, notably along the Champs-Elysees in Paris and Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC.

This Sun/Sirius annual alignment is considered by many to be the precise connection between our spiritual Sun, Sirius, and our physical Sun, such that it is the perfect time to bring the heaven worlds down to Earth! It is interesting that there are countries whose freedom and Independence has occurred around this time, in the Sun sign of Cancer including: Canada, America, France, and Iraq!

In ancient Egypt, the return of Sirius from the underworld coincided with the flooding of the Nile and the quality of that flood would decide the harvest to come and hence the well being of the people. Sirius disappeared from the night sky for about 70 days before returning to visible sight rising just above and before the Sun in mid August, when it would appear bright blue and sparkly, a great omen for the season to come, or dull red and a not so good omen!

This is a particularly critical time for the United States of America. The Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776 with Pluto at 27 degrees of Capricorn, and now it has returned to the exact same degree of Capricorn. It takes almost 250 years for Pluto to return, so the question being asked is, do you have your freedom yet? If not, further transformation is required. Everything out of alignment is coming up and out to be challenged so that the freedom codes can be embodied. The best thing we can all do is go within ourselves and seek this inner truth, integrity, and transformation, truly manifesting Heaven on Earth, where love rules! Remember the Statue of Liberty stands for our individual Liberation and America was founded under the 39th Gene Key whose Siddhi is Liberation. 

Connected to the return of Sirius is the Mayan Calendar “Day Out of Time,” which occurs on July 25th each year. The Calendar is based upon the 13-moon cycle of 28 days creating a full cycle of 364 days. To make up the extra day of the 365-day Gregorian Calendar “The Day Out of Time” is the space between worlds, a rainbow bridge that connects past with the potential future in the present moment. A day for stillness and connection. July 26th is therefore the first day of the New Galactic Year and its tone resonates throughout the year.
