Created just before Red Sky's move to Japan (the one place where he finally feels at home), the album is both a farewell and a manifesto.
Musically, Nostalgia del Futuro is fearless: black metal bleeds into reggae, techno pulses beneath traditional Japanese instrumentation, and Arabic textures add unexpected depth to the metal foundation.
