CREMATE’s story is one of resurrection. Originally formed in Alimos, Athens, in 1991, the band carved out a reputation for a raw, aggressive sound inspired by titans like Kreator and Sodom. After a successful run in the mid-90s—including the internationally acclaimed End of Time demo—the band disbanded, leaving a void in the Greek underground scene. In 2021, founder Christos reignited the flame. Alongside drummer George and guitarist/producer Akis Pastras, the band returned to their roots to re-envision their 90s fury through a contemporary lens. About the EP: Ready To Fight The resulting 4-track EP is an uncompromising fusion of vintage aggression and modern dark textures. Ready To Fight features three reworked classics and the brand-new title track, which boasts a guest solo from Marios Iliopoulos (Nightrage).
