Hailing from the land of a thousand lakes and infinite riffs, WILLFIRE embody the raw spirit of heavy metal with a sound that blends 80s rock, modern metal, and blues. Founded in 1998 by a tight-knit group of friends, the band’s journey has spanned decades, marked by evolution, reinvention, and an undying passion for heavy music. The trio—Niko Hellsten (vocals, bass, harmonica), Tero Virolainen (guitars), and Marko Kuparinen (drums)—have re-emerged stronger than ever. In 2024, they dropped Homebrewed Recordings, an 11-track album crafted entirely in-house: recorded, mixed, and mastered by the band themselves.
