EVOCATUS Summon the “Serpent of Chaos” Ahead of Inevitable Death Album Release

From the frontline of Australia’s melodic death metal underground, EVOCATUS charge ahead with their blistering new single, “Serpent of Chaos”.

The third strike from their upcoming full-length Inevitable Death, “Serpent of Chaos” conjures an apocalyptic vision where tradition crumbles and darkness reigns.

The band commented on the track: "This was one of the first songs written for the album. Our previous album 'Path to Tartarus' had a lot of very technical songs, and I just wanted to write something more straightforward and catchy. The song evolved from there based on the feel of the intro riff, expanding and changing naturally as the song progressed. If you are familiar with other Evocatus songs, a dual guitar lead and big solo was a must. Once the music was completed, the lyrical theme was almost too obvious and basically wrote itself after a small amount of research."

"The video idea was also very natural. We organised Gregoroth to produce the video for us and had a planning session to brainstorm ideas. One thing led to another, and a really solid plan was in place. On the actual day of shooting, there were quite a few obstacles that had to be overcome, but we got it done, and the final product speaks for itself!"
