This 12-track masterpiece is a culmination of Valentyn Matvieiev's (VM) artistic quest. Since February 2022, VM poured his heart and soul into the project, channeling raw emotions and unyielding determination. Even amidst the immense challenges faced by his home country, Ukraine, VM persevered, crafting a soundscape that transcends borders and resonates with the human spirit. VM collaborated with the talented Igor Antonov, who brought his production prowess to life on the album. Additionally, the captivating vocals of Olena Kalytovska and the magic violin of Natalya Yackevich add another layer of depth to the musical tapestry. While staying true to his signature "grunge/avant-garde" style, VM pushes boundaries on "There Is Something More - We Are Blind." Building upon the minimalist foundation laid in his debut EP "2Push2Relax," the album explodes with rich sonic textures. Violins and ethnic percussion weave seamlessly into the grungy core, creating a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly innovative.
