Formed in 2013, BRAINDRAG emerged with a clear mission: crafting exceptional music and delivering electrifying live performances. Enric GS, formerly of "Acció Directa" and "Tropel Nat," spearheaded the band, recruiting talented Barcelona musicians. Despite lineup changes, they rocked venues like "El Monasterio" and "Rock Sound," dropping EPs "One" and "Soñar." BRAINDRAG's trajectory shifted with the arrival of frontwoman Mireia Pérez, prompting a surge in professionalism. Their 2019 EP "Atreverme," featuring Mireia's vocals, marked a turning point. Sharing the stage with Icestorm and Deldrac at Razzmatazz in February 2020, they garnered praise from critics before the pandemic hit hard. With Llorenç Arbonés on drums (formerly of "Antropophobia") and Gon Tello on bass (formerly of "Sublevels"), BRAINDRAG embarked on their new album journey. 2023 saw them hit the studio, dropping singles "Salta," "Try Not To Fall," and "Rhapsody," teasing their debut LP "Coure Roent." They rocked live shows, supporting Elisa C. Martin at Sala Wolf in early 2024, as part of a Catalonia tour. On March 1st, "Coure Roent" hit the shelves, showcasing BRAINDRAG's evolution in sound and composition. |
