"We never tried to write songs of a particular style or sound," says Deth Kaktus. "If a riff made us feel something in our cold dead hearts, we knew it was something to work with. And we hope it makes everyone who listens feel something as well."

Hailing from Clifton, NJ, Deth Kaktus was formed in 2008 by Matt Garvey and Sean Orozco, who initially connected through a Craigslist ad seeking a guitarist for a Metallica cover band. The band experienced various lineup changes before solidifying their current roster, which features the powerful vocals of Manny, the thunderous drums of J.C. Garcia, and the return of bassist Adam Osetek. Together, they unleash a cataclysmic sonic assault that fuses elements of thrash, death, metalcore, and more, resulting in their distinct and face-meltingly epic sound.

Having conquered stages across the tristate area, Deth Kaktus is poised to bring their music to a global audience through their partnership with Wormholedeath.
