As a one-man band, Max Gutiérrez Sánchez pours his soul into every note, beat, and chord, summoning forth the spirits of the occult and the arcane. His music speaks of the secrets of the Tarot, the teachings of Blavatsky, the laws of Hermes Trismegistus, and the forgotten mysteries of the Mayan spirits. "Egregor" is a 30-minute sonic journey exploring the deepest depths of the human psyche and the beyond, a celebration of the dual aspect of the soul.

The album, containing eight tracks in total, was mixed and mastered by the experienced Colin Marston (Gorguts, Imperial Triumphant) in his studio Menegroth - The Thousand Caves (New York, USA). Grandiosa Muerte's lineup consists solely of Max Gutiérrez Sánchez, who handles vocals, guitars, bass, synths, and programming.
