Good morning, everyone! I am very excited about our next program and speaker and wanted to share some advance information with you. The program is entitled “Managing Challenging Employees and Behavior” and is scheduled for Thursday, March 20. As managers or HR professionals you are all aware how difficult and uncomfortable it can be to deal with a wide range of challenging employee issues. Yet, ignoring or not properly managing these delicate situations can create significant issues for your organization moving forward. In this program, our speaker will discuss several challenging issues and review the important laws that relate to dealing with sensitive and personal employee situations and communication. Our expert speaker is Amber Solano, AALRR. Amber is Chair of AALRR’s Private Labor and Employment Practice Group, covering nine offices throughout California. She is an accomplished litigator who represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law. Ms. Solano has been named a “Southern California Rising Star” every year since 2012 and was included in list of “Top Woman Attorneys in Southern California” by Super Lawyers, a national rating service of exceptional lawyers. And, having heard Amber speak on a number of occasions, I can tell you that she is an outstanding trainer. Trust me, you will not want to miss this interesting and important program. ADDITIONAL PROGRAM NOTE: One week after her EAC presentation – on March 27 - Amber will be one of the highlight speakers at AALRR’s 2025 Annual Employment Law Conference in Cerritos. This one-day conference for years has been one of the most valuable sources for our EAC team to learn about emerging topics and find top level speakers for our organization. We highly recommend it. For your convenience, we have included a link to program and registration information on the Conference. That is all for now. We look forward to seeing you on March 20.
