Please take special note that the increased City of Los Angeles minimum wage is one cent higher than the corresponding minimum wage in unincorporated parts of Los Angeles County. Employers can use this website to determine if their location is within the City of Los Angeles. In total, 40 localities in California have passed their own minimum wage ordinances that are at varying levels and increase at different times in the year. Employers must ensure they pay the higher of the California state and any applicable local minimum wage.
