| | Quilts to Aid Families Around the World The 110 quilts our quilters make for Lutheran World Relief were on display the weekend of September 28-29. These quilts give families around the world a life essential, as well as a reminder that they are not alone. From chronic poverty and conflict to drought and typhoon, the intensity of humanitarian needs continues to increase. Each quilt costs approximately $30 to make. Please consider donating to help offset the cost of these quilts. | | |

| | Pictured to the right is Ms. Kate and her Early Learners enjoying the felt board that was bought with a grant from the English District. It is a picture of the story of Noah's Ark being told. In October Fireman Blaise will visit so the children may learn about fire safety. They always learn so much from his visits, and sometimes he even brings his firetruck! The children are looking forward to Oct. 27th when the children will sing "Jesus Loves Me" at the 10:30 service and also the Barefoot Book Fair will be held. Sample books and order forms will be available the morning of Oct 27th and orders will be taken that morning and through the following week, both through the paper order forms and online. The Halloween celebration will be Oct. 30th. The older classes will parade around the school about 10:45 if weather permits. All of the classes will have Halloween parties run by the fantastic parent (and grandparent) volunteers. | | |
