He works justice for those who are pressed down by the world, providing food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are imprisoned; He makes the blind see. He lifts up those whose backs are bent in labor; He cherishes those who do what is right. (Psalm 146:7-8)

November

Verse 30 of Psalm 69 says, "I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving." I'm currently in a season of gratitude as I reflect on all that God has done for the Ranch and for my family over the past year. I pray that your Thanksgiving holiday will be a celebration of God's blessings in your life.

Now grab a cup of coffee and find out what we've been up to!

Jerry Has Arrived!

We are so grateful for the donation of this gentle giant from the Chattanooga Carriage Company, after Jerry was retired. You may remember his introduction in our September issue; if you'd like to read more about Jerry's story, click here. We are excited for him to begin his new career here at the Ranch!

Welcome, Caleb Ebersole!

We praise God that Caleb was led to join our Board of Directors. His wife, Annalyn, is a longstanding volunteer here at the Ranch, and the entire family has supported us in so many ways since before our inception. Click Caleb's name above to learn more about our newest board member. Thanks, Caleb!

Volunteers Descend On The Ranch

We are so grateful for the work of many volunteers in the last month to help us on some of the endless projects to do at the Ranch. Volunteers from Cumberland Fellowship, donating both labor AND supplies, worked on a permanent shade structure (our previous one was not as sturdy and was lost to weather); Bryan College volunteers came to help on several projects, including the prayer garden and the new fitness center; and volunteers from One Way Home Services donated their labor to swap out exterior doors to better keep our residents warm in the winter. Finally, we are incredibly grateful for Brannan's Heat and Air for volunteering their labor to replace a broken air conditioning unit with a new one.

Help Our Resident Launch

We praise God that "Christine" (not her real name) is graduating in December. We would also like to help her set up her household. If you'd like to help her, please click on this link to her Amazon gift registry. Be sure you change the delivery address to:  BHR  321 Broadway St., Dayton, TN  37321.

The Perfect Christmas Gift?

It's not too late! Show your loved one how much you care about human trafficking with a gift of a Blazing Hope Ranch sweatshirt, t-shirt, stuffed horse or ball cap. The best part about these gifts is that it raises awareness about the ranch when the gift is worn. Not only does this potentially help us, but it might show a woman in need that there is a place where she can get help. You can order your gift at this link. Shipping is included!

If you’d like to make a more significant impact, consider giving a horse sponsorship in the name of your loved one for $3084. This covers the cost of supporting one of our horses for the whole year. Click here to donate or for more information.

Answered Prayer: Praise God for all of the volunteers who gave their labor to us and helped us with so many projects around the Ranch as we get ready for winter.

Praises that our resident is ready to launch in December, and has the resources and support to be successful in the next chapter of her life (see her Amazon gift list if you want to help). A car was donated for her and she has signed a lease for her apartment!

Recent Success: Operation Phoenix

The traffickers kept their victims working seven days a week in hotel rooms where they could not leave without risking their families. Read how these traffickers were caught and will be brought to justice.

Prayer Pardn'rs

Please pray for Jordyn's quick healing. Our daughter, Jordyn, had surgery for her other foot, to correct her flat feet. Recovery from the first surgery went well; please pray for a similar or better recovery this time.

Please pray for our Board of Directors and for our newest member, Caleb Ebersole. Pray for their wisdom as we continue to grow our services and reach more supporters.

Please pray that we could partner with more churches who want to help us in our mission. We would be happy to come to your church and share what we do here.

Help Us In Our Mission!

Would you consider hosting a meeting with your philanthropically-minded friends? We would be happy to visit your home and make a brief presentation about our mission to people you think would like to support us financially.

Would you be willing to join our Freedom Wranglers? Freedom Wranglers support our mission with monthly donations. Please click on the Donate button to support the important work we do to restore wholeness to female survivors of human trafficking, and to weaken the sex trade through the power of Christ. Your monthly donation of as little as $10 per month can help a resident begin a new life.

Do you have a friend (or friends) who would also be willing to pray for us? If so, please forward this email to them or post this email on your social media account.
