Доброе утро, уважаемый участник марафона “Time to speak”! В нашей группе уже готово очередное задание. Пожалуйста, успейте его выполнить до того, как станет поздно :) Задание: TASK 4 Listening creates a body of experience for the brain that later can be used to construct phrases for speaking. If the content is interesting, and the voice pleasing, listening creates an emotional connection with the studied language. We are lucky to have a lot of opportunities to develop a good ear for English. Just log on to the Internet and try these: - Listening to music in English. Download the lyrics, study the text, learn it by heart and… sing along! - Listening to the radio in English, for example, Radio 4. - Watching movies, TV series and TV shows in English. Check these resources out: Ororo.TV, SpeechYard. - Watching TED presentations https://www.ted.com/talks - Listening to audiobooks in English. TASK Today’s task is the following: listen to a chapter from an audiobook, preferably the one which you have already read. For example, it might be Harry Potter books read by Stephen Fry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DLADm5Bj1M Does your perception of the book change when you listen to it instead of reading? How? Write your answer under this task and include the link to the book you’ve listened to. |
