Issued: 18th March 2020.

Our updated opening days are as follows:

Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday: CLOSED

Wednesday: CLOSED

Thursday: 10am - 3.30pm

Friday: 10am - 3.30pm

Saturday: 10am - 3.30pm

Sunday: 10am - 2.30pm

We as the rest of the country are entering an unknown situation regarding Covid-19. We are assessing the situation on a day by day basis and following the advice of Public Health England and the UK Government.

As it stands we are maximising social distancing by limiting the amount of people visiting on a session from 40 down to 25.

This may mean that you will be contacted to reschedule your booking due to spreading out the number of visitors to allow for this to happen.

The care of our pigs and animals on site are our most important priority and we are working on ensuring that their care & welfare is looked after.

If you have been impacted by Covid19 please inform us that you shall be rebooking so that we know not to expect you. You must provide the original booking confirmation, order number, date & time. So that we can add you to the waiting list to be rebooked. If you have done this already with us, then you do not need to re-submit.

We can not issue a new date for a rebooking as we do not know the time frame of how long this will go on for. This is why we have the waiting list in place. This will allow us to reach out to everyone who has been in contact regarding a rebook. Again, please provide all original details so that we can track your order.

Please do this all by email, please do not call as we are experiencing an influx of calls at this time and we can keep track of your order better on email.

We appreciate your patience during this time.

If you currently have a booking for Thursday - Sunday your current booking will go ahead as planned for 18th March - 22nd March.

We shall be updating our social media pages:

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kewlittlepigs/

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kew_little_pigs/

Twitter: @kewlittlepigsuk

As well as our website: https://kewlittlepigs.com/

If anything urgently needs to be communicated then we shall reissue a new statement by email similar to this.

Bookings for the upcoming weeks are going to be managed on a weekly basis. We shall be informing all customers if your booking needs to be postponed when we receive further information.

If you have a voucher you are wanting to use that expires soon. Please provide us full voucher details and your name so that we can redeem the voucher and honour the booking at a later date.

If you have a booking in place for Thursday until Sunday throughout the rest of March & April, we shall be operating the farm as per the normal. There is nothing you need to do on your end. However, if the situation changes then we may need to review your booking & postpone until further notice.

Given the unprecedented COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, we wanted to take the time to update you on the actions taken to keep Kew Little Pigs safe for all customers and staff.

During visits to the farm we are ensuring that the safety of our teams and guests remain our number one priority and we are continuing to closely follow the advice of Public Health England and the UK Government and have introduced several measures to enhance your safety, including:

- Providing hand sanitizers in multiple locations across the farm and check in area

- Increased foot sanitising access on farm.

- Implementing increased frequency of cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces including fencing, housing, benches & brushes.

- Our team have been reminded of the importance of good hand hygiene and handwashing techniques and will relay this information on safety talks at the farm.

- Relevant signage in hand wash facility areas.

- Reminding our team of Public Health advice if they feel unwell or have been in contact with anyone who feels unwell/travelled from the list of high-risk countries

If it’s safe to do so, and despite the disruption and uncertainty, we look forward to welcoming you to the farm soon.

However, if you feel unwell or have come into contact with anyone who may be unwell, please let us know if you need to reschedule. You must provide the original booking confirmation, order number, date & time. So that we can add you to the waiting list to be rebooked.

We are working closely with our vets to ensure that our animals are kept well. There are no known cases in pigs and have confirmation from the vets that it is highly unlikely for it infect our pigs but they can act as a surface which is why high levels of hand washing is vital. We have sanitising gel across the farm as well as portable sinks that you may use. We are regularly disinfecting the farm and working hard to maintain high hygiene levels.

We ask that all customers with booked visits or thinking of booking to ensure you will be visiting in good health and do not pose a risk to public settings.

For visitors that have already booked, please ensure you follow our booking confirmation rules and come at least 10 minutes before their scheduled visit time to ensure you can follow the extra health and safety precautions we have put in place.

We are not offering refunds at the current point in time & shall allow for rescheduling in the future. We wish to rebook you all on a visit with us soon if you have had to postpone.

Please get in contact with us by email at info@kewlittlepigs.com if you wish to postpone your visit so we can make note on your booking.

Provide order number, date, time & original confirmation.

We appreciate your support and understanding during these unusual times.

Stay safe and look after one another.
