We provide you with 200 names of different pigs, and for £2 your attendees can guess which one is the correct name for the chosen pig! So, what's in it for you? You wont regret booking Kew Little Pigs for your next school event, we even have a way of you making your money back for booking us. We are offering a 'Pet the Pig' services for all of our school bookings, where children and adults alike can spend £2 to have some time in our 'Pop up petting area'. We are currently giving the funding of this back to schools, to cover the cost of us being there! | | |

| | — School visits TO Kew Little Pigs— Kew Little Pigs farm are offering a fantastic educational 'Mini Pig Keeping' package to all school pupils, clubs and associations looking to take part in a field day visit that offers a hands on experience with animals. | | |

| | — Mini Pig Keeping— Our mini pig keeping experience is available Tuesday - Friday at the farm for groups of schools, clubs and associations. This 1 hours and 15 minute activity is a unique experience where the children will get to know our pigs and learn a little about what it is like to own a Micro Pig. Starting with a health and safety talk and and a tour introducing them to our farm and our miniature pigs, chickens and goats. The children will get to complete a farm task - this can be anything from feeding and watering the pigs, changing their hay nets or applying sunscreen to them in hotter months. Free time will then be given for the children to pet the pigs in the petting pens. As pigs our hypo-allergic, this experience is ideal for all children and offers a fantastic educational insight into life at the farm! What's Included?- 1 hour and 15 minutes experience at the farm Including health and safety talk, a tour and taking part in a farm activity, and petting ( feeding, cleaning etc)
- An additional free 30 minutes for the children to have a snack
- Free KLP book for the school
- A certificate for each child to take home on completion of experience
- A class room Q&A fact sheet to complete at school/ in class

| | — School visits FROM Kew Little Pigs— The Kew Little Pigs experience has been adapted to provide opportunities for Foundation, Infant and Junior (Primary) school children, with links across the Early Years Foundation Stage and Primary Curriculum. Although at present Kew Little Pigs education shows are targeted at Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 & 2, our services can be adapted to provide educational experiences for Key Stage 3 and above. | |

| | The Classroom Visit £240 (Can be split into 2 half hour visits to two classes) 1. Olivia will introduce herself and the miniature pigs, you will be given a health and safety talk and given instructions on how to wash your hands properly 2. Learning about pig’s needs and how to care for them (Types of food, shelter, straw etc). 3. Fun overview of pig’s anatomy including body parts and names. 4. Children get into the pig pen to brush, groom, feed and interact with the pigs. 5. Question and petting time with the miniature pigs 6. Facts from the visit for future classroom discussion Free Kew Little Pigs book for your school library The Assembly Visit - with power point presentation £360 £360(30-minute assembly visit followed by 3 x 30-minute class visits) 1. Introduction. Olivia will introduce herself and the miniature pigs. 2. Explain what a miniature pig is, why they are so small and the different types of pigs we have here in the U.K. 3. Learning about pig’s needs. how to care for them (types of food, shelter, straw etc). 4. Fun overview of a pig’s anatomy including body parts, names. 5. A talk on 'rare' traditional breeds and where they are situated in the U.K. 6. A talk on pigs as pets. 7. Q&A time for children. 8. Children can take part in creative discussions such as name a piglet, design a pig (showing what it will look like) and pig poetry.
