Camera Lens Covers

                Thank You to everyone for following the new sticker dot program.  If you see someone without a lens cover using their device at the pool kindly remind them of the program and that dots are located in the Office, Millennium Hall, and Clubhouse for everyone’s use. 

Bare Buns Desert Run

                Join us for our 3rd Annual Bare Buns Desert 5k. This is a trail course that goes through the rough terrain of the wash and the northern hiking trail. The course can be walked if you so choose. Timing chips will attach to your shoe or ankle which encourages you to run/walk the course nude. Sign – Up includes the daily resort fee so plan on staying for the day and enjoying all of the other great fall festival activities. Registration is available online just click on the link below. 

Fall Festival

                The Annual AANR West fall Festival will be held here at ShangriLa Ranch October 9th – 11th. Throughout the weekend we will be welcoming members from other AANR-West clubs and hosting sports competitions including, water volleyball, pickle ball, billiards and our annual 5k Bare Buns Desert Run. There will also be music around the pool with DJ Jason, who is also hosting karaoke on Friday night and the dance on Saturday. A craft fair and raffle will be set up in the clubhouse from 10am-5pm on Saturday; if you would like to be a vendor please contact Colleen Rand.   

Candy Drive

                We are doing a candy drive for the Kiwanis Fall Rally & Trunk-or-Treat. This event is for families for in the New River and Desert Hills area, as they do not have a great opportunity to go trick or treating. Please bring all candy (individually wrapped and sealed) in office no later than Sunday October 25th so that we can distribute into bags for all the kids.  

Halloween Dance

                Our annual Halloween Dance will be on Saturday October 31st starting at 8pm. This is a member’s only event; members can call to make room and RV site reservations. We will be having a costume contest and will be awarding prizes for best male, best female, best couple, and best group. When selecting a costume keep in mind that we are a family friendly facility and your costume needs to be in good taste and appropriate for a family of all ages to see.   

Propane

                Propane is filled on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday early in the mornings. If you would like to have your tanks filled they must be over by the propane tank and labeled with your name and site number so they can be returned to you. If you need to have an onboard tank filled please contact the office to make arrangements.  

Entrance Etiquette

                Please remember to keep music down as you pull into the ranch and up to the office. Keep your music down as you go through the property. Ranch quiet hours are 10 pm - 7 am on weekdays and 12 -7 am on weekends.  

                When you are coming through the gate and need to stop in the office park next to the docks or in the designated parking spots in front of the office deck. Do NOT park in resident driveways.

Lights

                Remember that all golf carts must have operating lights to be driven at night and in the early morning. Carry and use a flashlight while walking at night and in the morning, this provides safety for yourself and others.
