One of the most popular teacher training programmes is CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). This is a profound and practical course that you can take both online and offline. It opens a wide range of career opportunities for experienced English teachers as well as those just starting their path. Read this article to find out more about the course and what this international certificate gives, except for knowledge and skills.

Our CELTA courses include 120 contact hours between candidates and course tutors + 30 self-study hours, and:

  • tutorial support and consultation
  • supervised lesson planning
  • assessed and supervised teaching practice
  • feedback on teaching practice
  • peer observation of teaching practice

The CELTA course covers a range of topics, such as:

  • Learners and teachers, and the teaching and learning context
  • Language analysis and awareness
  • Language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing
