Hi there! It is a common belief that we tend to teach the same way as we were taught at school and at university. We unconsciously reproduce the same patterns that our teachers used, and we rarely judge whether these methods are effective or reasonable. Even if we do, very often we don't know how to teach differently. Join our master class 'How our learning experience interferes with our teaching' to look at common patterns that teachers practice in class, and discuss how effective they are, and whether there are better alternatives to what we are used to experiencing and doing ourselves. Participants will: - reflect on their learning experience and identify practices which had the biggest impact on them
- examine how those practices are reflected in their own teaching
- consider whether there are better practices and how the routines and habits can be changed
When: - Thursday, March 11
- 16.00 — 17.00 (UTC+2)
