As we enter this new Election Cycle, one thing we here at the Conservative Campaign Committee want to stress is that it is not sufficient to just elect Republicans in general elections, but we must help ensure more Conservative Republicans win during the primaries.
Think about some of the biggest legislative disappointments that recently occurred. The effort to Repeal ObamaCare failed when a RINO Republican, John McCain, voted at the last minute with the Democrats to save the disastrous healthcare scheme. Establishment-liberal Republicans thwarted President Trump's repeated efforts to secure funding for his Border Wall. And even during the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, we saw RINOs Jeff Flake and Lisa Murkowski siding with Democrats and almost derail Kavanaugh's nomination. We must do better. Our country deserves better. And that's why independent conservative groups like the Conservative Campaign Committee work so hard to build as much support as we can for the best conservative candidates in the GOP primaries. We ust build a stronger more conservatively principled Republican Party.
The 2018 Midterm Elections drained our bank account here at the Conservative Campaign Committee, as we gave everything we had to support Republican candidates for the House and Senate, and now we must refill our campaign coffers so we can start of 2019 ready to make a positive impact for our conservative candidates and causes.
