A new Vanderbilt University poll out of Tennessee finds the U.S. Senate race between Republican Marsha Blackburn and Democrat Phil Bredesen is now a margin of just 1%.

This new poll runs counter to other recent polling which had showed Marsha Blackburn with a growing lead, but it underscores why we must not take anything for granted.  Each Senate battle could have massive impact on the makeup of the Senate and whether or not Charles Schumer and the Democrats steal away majority control of the Senate.
