There have been dramatic developments in the past 72 hours in the fight for control of the U.S. Senate.  As Fox News reports, Republicans are now on the offensive in several Senate races.

Here's the states where we have the most positive news to report:  Tennessee (Republican Marsha Blackburn has expanded a sizable lead); Nevada (Republican Dean Heller had been trailing a month ago but now has pulled ahead by 2-points); North Dakota (Democrat Heidi Heitkamp's campaign has been in free-fall and now trails by double digits); Missouri (where Democrat Claire McCaskill once held a lead but now trails in a series of recent polls); Michigan (Republican John James has pulled within single digits of Democrat Debbie Stabenow); Texas (Republican Ted Cruz has led by a margin of 5%-9% in the last five polls released); and Montana (Republican Matt Rosendale is nearly tied with Democrat incumbent Jon Tester).

We are awaiting new polling data in West Virginia (to see how Democrat Joe Manchin is holding up in the way of his vote for Justice Brett Kavanaugh); Florida (where focus is on the recovery efforts following Hurricane Matthew) and Indiana (where it has been a tight race as we try to unseat Democrat Joe Donnelly).

Ohio, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania have posed a struggle and we need a major push in these states to put the Democrats on the defensive.
