🔥We are pleased to invite you to the Final Workshop in the frames of the project on developing technical recommendations of the new built Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) in Ukraine, which will take place at 11:00 (Kyiv time) on the 1^st of December 2022.

The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, in the framework of ensuring the implementation of EU legislation on energy performance of buildings in Ukraine.

👉🏻 NZEB is one of the first steps in implementation of the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). Each EU country establishes its technical requirements to such buildings. Now this process has begun in Ukraine. The EPBD is the main legislative tool of the European Union aiming to promote the energy efficiency of buildings within the Community. According to the Directive, a “Near Zero Energy Building” (NZEB) means “a building that has very high energy performance. The almost zero or very low amount of energy required shall be covered to a large extent by energy from renewable sources, including renewable energy produced on site or nearby”.

✔️ During the final workshop, technical recommendations on the requirements for buildings with nearly zero energy consumption will be presented, which will contribute to the development and establishment of appropriate requirements for NZEB buildings in Ukraine.

• The Ministry of communities and territories development of Ukraine;
• Representatives of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine;
• Municipalities that are actively developing and are interested in increasing the level of energy efficiency of public buildings;
• Developers and design companies implementing projects with a high level of energy efficiency;
• Construction companies and Installers;
• Representatives of public energy efficiency associations;
• Producers of HVAC equipment, water supply equipment and renewable energy equipment;
• Producers of thermal insulation systems and windows structures.
