💬On October 27, during the discussion, "Guarantees of the origin of electricity: when Ukrainian consumers will be able to take advantage of the mechanism" of the Center for Economic Recovery with the participation of the Regulator, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the Energy Community Secretariat and associations, Kateryna Polyakova emphasized, that "it is important to understand that Ukrainian certificates of guarantees of origin will not enter the market of European certificates for several years, so we must rely on our own market. Regarding the implementation of the system of certificates of origin in Ukraine, within the framework of EUEA activities and analysis, the member companies of the Association supported the draft law proposed by the Ministry of Energy."

✔️ Also, during the discussion of the issue of creating a registry of certificates of origin, Kateryna noted that there is no need to develop proprietary software for Ukraine. There are already ready-made solutions - which are proposed by the Energy Community or I-REC (which meet the requirements of accounting for CO2 emissions) and will allow to quickly create a registry in Ukraine with reasonable costs.

We are actively working on it now»,- noted the Prime Minister. Details.
